From active and welcoming edge onto Presnenskiy Val, through the huts and coworking spaces tucked into the banks of the valley, a variety of flexible use pavilions for all seasons and bank of the Valley which conceals parking and protects the landscape from the train noise — we have created an immersive natural environment, we have created a PLACE. 

This place offers so much character and our proposal builds on its genius loci and the rich atmosphere of the past. By placing the beautiful existing buildings in the arrival locations, we celebrate the heritage as well as free up the space for landscape in the heart of the site.

Clear distinction between public and private is created. Public spaces are welcoming and inviting and the residents’ gardens have a feeling of shelter and retreat from the city. The spaces will flow from public squares on East and West, semi-public/community spaces at the Plateau and private residents’ garden tucked in the valley, where children will play in the safe environment, and people feel at home and that they belong.

The Valley will be full of life — through a series of activities and joyful spaces. COVID 19 has made us all reconsider places we live and work in. Our Valley will be flexible enough to offer both and more, depending on people’s needs. From co-working spaces and community workshops and classes, we have created a place that offers quality of life as the biggest luxury.
